South Texas Internet wasn't born in a corporate boardroom; it was born out of necessity right here in Medina County.
In 2006, we faced the same frustration many of you know too well: living in a "dead zone" where the big-name providers simply refused to go. At our own home, we didn't just have slow service—we had no internet at all. Seeing this glaring gap in connectivity across our local communities, we decided to stop waiting for a solution and start building one.
We founded South Texas Internet to provide the high-speed, reliable service our neighbors deserve. We’ve been bridging the digital divide across Medina and our neighboring counties ever since, and we haven’t stopped growing since the day we first plugged in.
